there is not a lot that I can say to help sadly. When I run lastfm,
wichever way, using artsdsp or not, using aoss wrapper or not, using
oss, or alsa, or any of the hardware devices, the sound is completely
distorded (looks like some sampling problem though, but I'm not sure
that's the only one).
other media player works fine on my platform though.
I've tested with the beta release on the last.fm site, the problem is
still present.
I've also tested the 32bits version in a 32bit chroot, no better.
I've an amd64 and my sound card uses the alsa module: snd_ice1724,
