Indeed, but it's in the Java section. We've pretty much been ignoring the Java testsuite ever since we added it to the build, because free JVMs have _never_ been able to complete it successfully. I only added it in the hopes that someday kaffe (and later, gcj) would manage to pass the whole thing, at which point I'll change debian/rules to no longer ignore failure. The real ia64 build error is further down: Running all tests in authz_tests.py...success Running all tests in changes-test...success Running all tests in fs-base-test...FAILURE Reading the failure log which is printed at the end of the tests: svn_tests: Berkeley DB error for filesystem 'test-repo-open-berkeley' while opening environment: svn_tests: Invalid argument svn_tests: bdb: DB_REGISTER limits each process to a single open DB_ENV handle FAIL: lt-fs-base-test 2: open an existing Berkeley DB filesystem Now, you might say, "oh, that's a perfectly clear error message." And it is. What is _not_ clear is why this happens only on ia64. Thanks, Peter
