Hi, I had the same error messages.
I am not sure if this is related with my problem of displaying chinese using "AR PL ShanHeiSun Uni" font (package ttf-arphic-uming). I had to downgrade to packages in testing (fontconfig-config_2.3.2-7_all.deb, libfontconfig1_2.3.2-7_powerpc.deb, libfontconfig1-dev_2.3.2-7_powerpc.deb).
