I would love to have an Alt-Tab-like-feature in GNU Screen. It could work like this: Step 1. Press Control-A then Tab to start Step 2. Use the right and left arrows, or Tab and Shift-Tab, to cycle through all screens. As you press the arrows, each screen in turn will become active. (optional extra: all screen names will be listed on the bottom statusbar, and the active one will be highlighted in color) Step 3. Press Enter when you've found the one you like, or Esc to cancel and go back to the screen you were on before you started. -- Jason Spiro: computer consulting with a smile.
