Package: wesnoth Version: 1.1.9-1 Followup-For: Bug #357786 The worst thing is that music volume slider is (could be?) not at the maximum position during the first start.
Note that usually sound distortion happens in general because of too high volume level. Therefore I have not tried to put the slider to maximum position, but rather tried to make the volume lower without any better result. Only after looking into BTS reports I figured out how to work around the issue. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages wesnoth depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libfreetype6 2.2.1-5 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libfribidi0 0.10.7-3 Free Implementation of the Unicode ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-13 GCC support library ii libsdl-image1.2 1.2.5-2 image loading library for Simple D ii libsdl-mixer1.2 1.2.6-1.1+b1 mixer library for Simple DirectMed ii libsdl-net1.2 1.2.5-7 network library for Simple DirectM ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.11-3 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-13 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.0-8 X11 client-side library ii python2.4 2.4.3-8 An interactive high-level object-o ii ttf-dejavu 2.7-2 Bitstream Vera fonts with addition ii wesnoth-data 1.1.9-1 data files for Wesnoth ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime wesnoth recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
