Yes, you are right but pwc in 2.6.18 has the uncompressor thingy so external pwc modules are not needed anymore. I've created a newer pwc-source version that doesn't fail on 2.6.18 and it can be built for older kernel versions (10.0.12-rc1+final-1) [0]. Now my sponsor is taking a look over it. I repeat, you don't need the external pwc module for 2.6.18 kernel.
