Enclosed is a patch for libaudio-file-perl version 0.11-1 to resolve this bug. The original report had a patch for version 0.08-1, but as that patch was not applied for the 0.11-1 release, it is no longer useful for new systems.
So I have supplied an updated patch that cleanly applies to the 0.11-1 version of the package.
