I missed the original report, sorry. The mail from Debian BTS didn't show up well enough to catch my attention, despite a careful mail filter configuration. :( (This is not the first time I wish Debian BTS to send direct mail to maintainer, rather than just to the bug number. Or constantly polling QA page is the best way to be aware of bug reports.) Yes, I noticed the change in the new libpango changelog two days ago, and was about to build a new release, until your second comment arrived, and I accidentally noticed. :P And the change in your patch is exactly what I planned to do.
