I do not understand what you write.
Why do you call a "custom icon for a launchable file"?

By "launchable file" I mean a Plucker file that can be launched from the PDA desktop, directly, without starting the Plucker program. For the plucker-build, this is the "--launchable" option.

A launchable file can have a custom icon on the PDA desktop instead of the default Plucker icon. The path to the icon is given in the "--icon=<path>" option to plucker-build.

When I tried to create a launchable file with a custom icon, Plucker did not work, and that's the source of my original bug report.

Sorry about the confusion!

I should also document this: The thread that gave me a clue about the graphics image program problem is on the Plucker mailing list archive:

http://lists.rubberchicken.org/pipermail/plucker-list/2006-February/006453.html

And this message in that thread says that the solution is to switch to PIL:

http://lists.rubberchicken.org/pipermail/plucker-list/2006-February/006460.html

(And as I stated before, the Debian netpbm and imagemagick packages (unstable) didn't work with Plucker, but PIL did.)

Thanks again,
