Please do not *close* bugs, just because you do not want to verify if
they still apply (which they do, and that is easy to verify)
It took me like 10 seconds watching the screensaver until I saw the
first UTF-8 char being displayed incorrectly...
(fortune uses the -de dataset, which has german umlaute)
In my opinion, closing bugs by the pure chance that they have been fixed
upstream is wrong. You can send the submitters a mail to ask for
verification *without* closing the bug, or close a bug if the submitter
doesn't reply any more, but just closing in advance is wrong.
