Package: hpodder Version: 0.5.7 Severity: wishlist Feature request:
hpodder writes informal messages (like progress report) to stderr, this is rather painful for running it via crontab since all those messages will be received via email. I can of course invoke it as "hpodder &> /dev/null" in my crontab, but I usually prefer to run stuff as "hpodder > /dev/null" so that I get informed about errors, still without being bothered by "all is going well" messages. Could you please change hpodder so that it writes informative messages to stdout instead of stderr? Many thanks in advance, Cheers. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-aquarium Locale: LANG=it_IT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages hpodder depends on: ii curl 7.15.5-1 Get a file from an HTTP, HTTPS, FT ii id3v2 0.1.11-3 A command line id3v2 tag editor ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgmp3c2 2:4.2.1+dfsg-4 Multiprecision arithmetic library ii libsqlite3-0 3.3.7-1 SQLite 3 shared library hpodder recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
