I know, though it's strictly unrelated to this bug. Actually, the fix
to that bug is the reason you can't install gaim-otr, as the version
in unstable isn't meant to work with gaim 2.0.

I intend to upload an updated gaim-otr plugin this weekend.

installed"

So this bug is no longer resolved.
