 I don't honestly see "everybody" agreeing on anything.  I don't
 actually care much about this bug since I don't remember the conditions
 under which I found it in the first place (it's likely that I just
 happened to notice while working on something xscreensaver-related, as
 I have never used KDE nor anything Qt for that matter).  That said the
 Project as a whole would benefit a *lot* if people bothered writing
 something *halfway* understandable when they close bugs.  I've read
 the logs for both 117906 and 123363 and the only thing even approaching
 an explanation for your statement above is Jamie's statement that the
 interface is deprecated.

 I do see that you have a record of this way of handling bugs.  Telling
 people "go check if the new version fixes your problem" is *not* the
 proper way of closing bugs, and closing a bunch of 12 bugs in this way
 with the same message is only worse.
