The severity justification for this bug is innappropriate. However, the
severity looks correct considering that, unless someone knows
differently, removing the binaries on these archs is the preferred way
to allow mcvs to be updated in testing, which is needed to fix serious
#346164, at least.
Which doesn't make this bug serious. Please refrain from changing
severities like this, severities are not transitive.

ftp.d.o is maintained by "James Troup and others", so theoretically it's
ftp-master's call whether the bug is serious or not. In general though,
severities *are* "transitive", so if you downgrade a bug which was
perceived as the preferred way of fixing an RC bug, it's friendly to
explain who you expect to fix the bug instead.
However, since you already fixed this bug and I already stated that I
won't attempt to do bug triage concerning severities for ftp.d.o
anymore, it would be quite pointless to continue this discussion.
