Hi,

Please show the output of "ls -al" in the directory in which you are
trying to create the file, and in /tmp.
In ~/Desktop I've Got :

What do you mean? You need to be root to create files in your home
directory?
Yes, I need to be root to create files in my home directory with
Nautilus but Firefox (for example) can create files (in my home
directory) without problem.
