Oh, and just something for the submitter to think about - by sending the file that hung clam in the email, you effectively DoS'ed the clam processes of everybody who reads clamav's bug list :) I got the reply before I got the original, presumably because of this issue. It might be better in the future, if you have something that appears to hang clamav, to just send a link to a web accessable file, or password protect a zip file or something. But no harm done - I temp failed a few dozen messages, but I'm sure the ones I want will try again.
