Package: mkvmlinuz Version: 24 Followup-For: Bug #387496 mkvmlinuz version 24 still does not work for linux-image-2.6.18-1-prep and bash -x shows that MKPREP variable is unset. As an additional bonud, mkvmlinuz does not show the actual error messages on such errors and just silently finishes without producing the requested output file.
