My Inbox defaults to display in UTF-8, when I receive an ISO-8859-15 email with the tab character in the subject it appears corrupted. for example this text in a subject:
"Tab space is corrupted"
See attached screenshot for an example of this problem. When viewing the email in a separate window the title bar is not corrupted. Also the Subject display is not corrupted.
Does anyone know a workaround for this problem? Let me know if you need further info. I do have many fonts installed, but I configured to use Bitstream Vera Sans (ttf-bitstream-vera package).
Message display is also in Bitstream Vera Sans. I do not know how to change the font of the
