However, when the seven held-back packages are manually selected, this only has the effect that the number of packages that are marked as "deleted because they are no longer needed" drops by three or four. In other words, there's no reason at all to hold them back. I'll send a list of the packages installed prior to the dist-upgrade in a minute.
