Package: eruby
Version: 1.0.5-1
Severity: wishlist

This is not a real bugreport in the sense that I want to report that
something is not working. I was contacted by a few people[1] having problems
to setup eruby with apache and I think we can help them on track by:

* Linking eruby from /usr/lib/cgi-bin.
* Installing a eruby.conf in apache's conf.d to enable the /cgi-bin/eruby
  action for application/x-httpd-eruby[2].
* Asking for the user if he wants eruby enabled for apache2 if apache2
  is installed. If answered yes, also enabling the required mod_actions.

What are your thoughts about this?

Kind regards,

Paul

Versions of packages eruby depends on:
ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries
ii liberuby 1.0.5-1 Library for eruby
ii libruby1.8 1.8.5-2 Libraries necessary to run Ruby 1.

eruby recommends no packages.
