Package: hplip-1.6.9.run Version: 1.6.9 Dear Ladies and Sirs!
I got a HP OfficeJet G55 Color Printer with scan- and copyfunction. Since I´m using ubuntu 6.06 LTS the printer is not printing anymore. When I tried to install the printer with the printer-installer of ubuntu, it will listed in the printerlist. But there is no chance to print with. Therefore I tried to install the hplip-1.6.9 to resolve that problem. (with: sh /hplip-1.6.9.run in the shell) But the installer stopps when I try to run it, becaus of the missing cups-devel dependency. Can You help me to solve the problem?
