Package: alsa-oss
Version: 1.0.12-1
Severity: minor

Hi all,

I used to preload the libaoss.so file in order to get VMware working with Alsa.

For some days, I get this message :
$ LD_PRELOAD=libaoss.so exec vmware "$@"
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libaoss.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.

And VMware doesn't see the emulated "/dev/dsp" file.

Since VMware doesn't work using "aoss", is there a solution ?

Thank to you,
Maxime.

P.S : Sorry for the eventually double email... Reportbug was not configured for
my mail address and smtp ;)
