Hello Roberto, the problem is still there since I did not notice any new version of the sas2l-bin package in the meantime. To make my system workable again I had to use the "-n 0" parameter and everything went fine. My mail server is using cyrus, the load is not very high, but since there are some hundreds mail accounts on the server there are a lot of users and I estimate around 200.000 mail checks for day (very rough estimate). Please tell me which other kind of details I can give you. This is the /etc/default/saslauthd file I'm using: START=yes MECHANISMS="pam" PARAMS="-n 0" Thanks for your feedback, Alex -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
