Thanks for the report, but this will not be fixed anytime in the foreseeable future. I original considered this, but specifically decided against it. Every GHDL version depends on an exact, specific version of GCC, to build and function correctly. Not only would this be a recipe for extra FTBFS bugs, but even if at certian points in time this matches what is in a gcc-X-source package, there is no guarantee that the next version of either GHDL or gcc-X-source will. -- Wesley J.
