When trying to run thunderbird, after the upgrade, I received the error: thunderbird run-mozilla.sh: Cannot execute /usr/lib/icedove/thunderbird-bin. by creating a symbolic link in /usr/lib/icedove: $ cd /usr/lib/icedove [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/lib/icedove$ su Password: victoria:/usr/lib/icedove# ls -al *bin -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 74800 2006-10-14 07:18 icedove-bin victoria:/usr/lib/icedove# ln -s icedove-bin thunderbird-bin I was able to use the command "thunderbird" to run icedove. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18 Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages thunderbird depends on: ii icedove 1.5.0.7-3 free/unbranded thunderbird mail cl thunderbird recommends no packages. -- debconf information: * thunderbird/browser: Debian -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
