We've not spoken before. I just upgraded postfix on my debian/testing server and experienced the same segfault as this bug report (stumbled upon via google). It turns out I had an *empty /etc/mailname* file. This was working ok with the previous versions of postfix (2.2.3-1 and 2.2.10-2) but dies with the latest version (2.3.3-1). I get a segfault with both newaliases and mailq. I used gdb as you suggested in your post and traced the error to mail_params_init, so I started with a blank main.cf and added a line at a time until newaliases barfed. Hope this helps, and thanks for all your great work. Cheers, Dan ----- End forwarded message ----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
