Hi! Both wget and curl supports downloading over https, but they fail if it is a self-signed / unsecure certificate, as both need a separate option to download from unsecure ssl places. --no-check-certificate for wget and --insecure for curl I don't know if it should be the default behaviour or there just should be a command line switch. Maybe a command line switch is best. /Sune -- System Information: Debian Release: unstable/experimental APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-vserver-k7 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages devscripts depends on: ii debianutils 2.17.3 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii dpkg-dev 1.13.24 package building tools for Debian ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii perl 5.8.8-6.1 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii sed 4.1.5-1 The GNU sed stream editor Versions of packages devscripts recommends: ii fakeroot 1.5.10 Gives a fake root environment -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
