Hi! As we can see from debconf information, admin user is correctly entered. We should look closer at the "RPC failed on the node [EMAIL PROTECTED]: nodedown".
2 Sebastian: Could you show: 1) Your ejabberd config file after 1.1.2-2 installed; 2) /var/log/ejabberd/sasl.log; 3) output of ps axu | egrep '(beam|epmd)' Which jabber addresses were served by ejabberd when you have installed and used earlier ejabberd versions? Have you enabled firewall on localhost, which has closed port 4369 (or any other port)?
