Package: ucarp
Version: 1.2-1
Severity: wishlist

Ucarp is great, and simple. However, I hate having to put a clear-text
password as one of the arguments, as this makes the password viewable by
anyone who can do a process list.

I would be happy if ucarp had a -f option which allowed you to specify a
configuration file that contained the options that you wanted to use for
that instance, including the password. That file could then be
restricted from prying eyes view.

I would be happy if there were other options as well, this just seems
the most logical one that most other daemons who have faced this similar
problem have taken.

Thanks!
Micah
