If starting a slide show in EOG, pictures of size >1MB take forever to load, causing it to override settings for "Switch image after:". This is especially annoying when the next picture is smaller: You end up with display times that vary between 1 and 15 seconds if the "Switch image after" option is set to 5 seconds. If you can't get images to load faster, please consider forcing each display at least for the time specified.
