Package: greylistd Version: 0.8.3.1 Severity: important Justification: renders package unusable
All versions of greylistd, from sarge on through sid, have this problem. The entire greylist database is read into RAM when the program starts, and remains there for the duration of the program. This is an exceptionally poor use of resources, and renders the package completely unusable for the large mail servers that would benefit most from it. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15.6 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
