Package: sparc-utils Severity: wishlist memconf <URL:http://myweb.cableone.net/4schmidts/memconf.html> is a very nice perl script that parses openprom/prtdiag info to determine the size and other characteristics of the installed memory modules. Very handy when you don't want to take down your server to browse the mem sockets...
it's a single perl script which requires sparc-utils and /dev/openprom, and i'd think inclusion in the sparc-utils package would be a win for everybody. the license is gpl v2++. regards az -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (980, 'testing'), (970, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.17.13 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=de_AT (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
