Package: thttpd-util Version: 2.23beta1-4 X-Debbugs-Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The "makeweb" utility is supposed to let users create their own directory structure in /var/www/users, but in order to be able to do this, the utility needs to be setgid to the group owner of that directory (this is mentioned in the source code). At present, that directory is group "root" on my installation, and makeweb is not setgid.
Perhaps it would be simpler in the short term to simply replace this command with a no-op warning unless you relly want to go through the hassle to introduce a new group and a new setgid program. /* era */ -- If this were a real .signature, it would suck less.
