This is still a problem, and as it make the package impossible to
install from the installer, I raise the severity.

I tried to install it for the first time, and this failed.  Luckily
the aoe-mkdevs program was already unpacked, so I could use it to work
around the problem.  Of course, I am using udev, so the correct fix
would be to load the aoe kernel module instead.

Here is the log showing what I did:
