Yep, but it is unlikely to be a problem in Debian HPLIP, as currently I am not patching much (and I did test it with everything running as root). My best bet is that Debian's python qt is hosed, but I have not found a proper way to debug this yet. I'd need to fully trace *all* IPC between hpssd and hp-sendfax, plus all that happens inside hp-sendfax (and if I am very unlucky, hpssd). -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them.
