You realise that you're sending a complaint about Ubuntu to bugs.DEBIAN.org, right? Yes, as it turns out, the Ubuntu and Debian packaging for php5 tend to be done with some co-ordination, but if you want this to change in Ubuntu, you really should be filing bugs in Malone, not bugging Debian about it. ...
