Package: xkb-data Version: 0.9-4 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch
I haven't found configuration for HP Compaq nx9020 keyboard in xkb-data, nor a similar keyboard. The wish item in freedesktop bugzilla https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7310 seems to be ignored for several months already .... So here comes the needed info for inclusion in /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/inet partial alphanumeric_keys xkb_symbols "hpnx9020" { // Describes the multimedia buttons on HP nx9020 notebook under 2.6 kernel key <I1F> { [ XF86ScreenSaver ] }; key <I20> { [ XF86AudioMute ] }; key <I2E> { [ XF86AudioLowerVolume ] }; key <I30> { [ XF86AudioRaiseVolume ] }; key <I32> { [ XF86WWW ] }; key <I65> { [ XF86Search ] }; key <I6C> { [ XF86Mail ] }; key <I75> { [ Help ] }; }; There also needs to be more files updated, like base, base.lst and base.xml, to include keyboard description "Hewlett Packard Compaq nx9020" -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16 Locale: LANG=cs_CZ.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=cs_CZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
