Just wondering whether there is anything new about this bug report. Marco said it could be ipw2200 having the "race between driver setup and populating the MAC address file in sysfs as some drivers do". Kay talks about fixing the kernel. Should I talk to the ipw2200 maintainer? Or is this a known problem that netdev people are dealing with for all drivers?
