i did more experiments with openoffice.org 2.0.4-2 and libstlport: 1) removed and purged all openoffice.org packages
2) installed fresh openoffice.org (including openoffice.org-impress) 3) installed both libstlport4.6c2 and libstlport5.0 packages. in that setup i was able to crash simpress at Tool/Options/Language Setting/[Languages|Writing Aids] windows without openoffice.org-soikko package. then i removed libstlport5.0 package and tried to get crash, but was not anymore able to. it thus looks to me that openoffice.org 2.0.4-2 does NOT work properly if both versions of libstlport are installed, which to my understanding is a legal in etch environment, because there is no conflicts declared. so perhaps there still exists a bug in openoffice.org 2.0.4-2. -- juha -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
