Unfortunately, yes.

Release file ok (they are identical in 'etch' and 'testing'. Actually
'testing' is the symlink to the 'etch' on the server).

Note that 'etch' is the 'Codename' in Release file, while 'testing' is
the 'Suite' (I suspect a-s-v may be confused by this):
