After the last SA upgrade, spamd is now generating reams and reams of
log messages like the following:

Oct 31 20:36:39 eusebeia last message repeated 60 times
Oct 31 20:37:40 eusebeia last message repeated 60 times
Oct 31 20:38:41 eusebeia last message repeated 60 times
Oct 31 20:39:42 eusebeia last message repeated 60 times
Oct 31 20:40:43 eusebeia last message repeated 60 times

I traced the source of these messages to the code around line 244 in:
/usr/share/perl5/Mail/SpamAssassin/SpamdForkScaling.pm

>From the comments, it looks like somebody has tried to fix this problem
before, but for some reason it's still not quite working.
