Heh, it is working better for you than it is working for the majority of people, then. AFAIK, PyQT 3.16 broke faxing on Debian and Ubuntu for good... Anyway, in hp-toolbox, open the configure|settings menu item (or press F2). Check the function commands, and if there is a --standalone in hp-sentfax, that's the problem.
