Package: phpbb2 Version: 2.0.21-4 Followup-For: Bug #391775
Not all bot submissions to my forum include a URL, so I'm not sure what they're trying to achieve. Anyway, it is indeed now a criticial issue that the the phpbb2 developers must address. Using mod_security and mod_spambot has helped somewhat, but it's still taking 1/2 hour every day removing these bots - adding a graphical string to confirm the registration hasn't helped. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-1-386 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages phpbb2 depends on: ii apache [httpd] 1.3.34-4 versatile, high-performance HTTP s ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.8 Debian configuration management sy ii libapache-mod-php4 4:4.4.4-3 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4 4:4.4.4-3 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4-cgi 4:4.4.4-3 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php4-mysql 4:4.4.4-3 MySQL module for php4 Versions of packages phpbb2 recommends: ii phpbb2-conf-mysql 2.0.21-4 Automatic configurator for phpbb2 ii sendmail-bin [mail-transport- 8.13.8-2 powerful, efficient, and scalable -- debconf information: * phpbb2/httpd: apache -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
