Package: udev-udeb Version: 0.100-2.2 Severity: wishlist Tags: d-i The udeb contains ide.agent, which according to its comment is only needed for an old kernel version, and which seems redundant anyway for d-i. I think this should be removed to save space.
The z55_hotplug.rules file has lines that use both ide.agent and net.agent. net.agent is not needed in d-i, so not included, but this results in an ugly message during d-i boot about net.agent not being present. These lines should be removed from the rules file in the udeb. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- see shy jo
