I'm not sure what your problem is. gcompris 7.4 depends on python-gnome2, which in turn depends on python-gtk2. FWIW, python-gnome2 is not required any more in 8.2, but I did not add a python-gtk2 dep - this may indeed be missing. Can you please give more details ?
