Package: cowdancer
Version: 0.23
Severity: minor

        Hi,

A lot of people including me find it counter-intuitive that cowbuilder
does not parse the pbuilder config file. It wouldn't be easy to make
cowbuilder parse shell syntax from the various pbuilderrc files, but
one solution would be to have a "pbuilder-config" utility which would
be capable of dumping the config or parts of the config or a specific
config item for cowbuilder. postconf for postfix does something
similar in spirit. cowbuilder would then simply have to call
 "pbuilder-dumpconfig BUILDPLACE" or something similar.

   Bye,
