Package: caca-utils Version: 0.99.beta9.debian2-2 Severity: wishlist cacafire & cacademo can be closed by pressing Escape, if the system isn't under load. Under load I experienced no reaction of cacafire after pressing Escape. Had to kill it from another shell with "killall cacafire" since neither pressing Ctrl-C nor pressing Ctrl-Z stopped the program.
Both programs should also exit if Ctrl-C is pressed, preferable via the INT signal. But this seems to be disabled. (In the case of a SIGINT, it should be ok to leave the terminal in an unclean state, so this should be no reason for disabling Ctrl-C or Ctrl-Z.) -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.33.2-1-dphys-k8-smp-64gb Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages caca-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcaca0 0.99.beta9.debian2-2 colour ASCII art library ii libcucul0 0.99.beta9.debian2-2 low-level Unicode character drawin ii libimlib2 1.3.0.0debian1-4 powerful image loading and renderi ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime caca-utils recommends no packages. -- debconf information: perl: warning: Setting locale failed. perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings: LANGUAGE = "en_Switzerland:en_US:en_GB:en", LC_ALL = (unset), LANG = "en_US" are supported and installed on your system. perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C"). locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
