Hello,
I cannot use libpam-poldi with my CardMan 4040 PCMCIA reader:
# poldi-ctrl -t
poldi-ctrl: DBG: ccid-driver: no CCID reader with number 0
poldi-ctrl: pcsc_connect failed: unknown reader (0x80100009)
poldi-ctrl: Error: failed to open card: Card error
Authentication failed (Card error)
Lucky enough to sit next to Werner Koch, I've been told that it can be
fixed by updating the src/libscd/ccid-driver.{h,c} driver code with the
one found in the g10/ directory in gnupg (currently we have gpg 1.4.5 in
Debian and it works).
I wish this can be fixed before etch.
[I'm tagging this <patch>: the patch is not attached, but it's just
about copying over the file from gpg]
Ciao,
Enrico
