Package: smartmontools Version: 5.37~cvs20061002-1 Followup-For: Bug #368028
There are a number of reports that say smartmontools fails to start on installation or upgrade. Even if /etc/default/smartmontools is set to run smartd, this happens: # wajig install smartmontools_5.37~cvs20061002-1_amd64.deb Selecting previously deselected package smartmontools. I imagine there's a standard way to handle this? Check if it's running and do a restart if it is?
