Package: knowledgeroot Version: 0.9.7.3-1 Severity: important After installing the latest version of knowledgeroot the package reverted to the default config.inc.php without warning. In particular, it was set back to use mysql instead of postgresql and tried to use the default database/user/password.
I expect this is because config.inc.php is located in /usr/share/knowledgeroot and not as a config-file under /etc/. I would really like to see this fixed since it breaks anything that's not absolutely stock default. Fortunately I have (working) backups of my system so it only took me a minute to get back to a working configuration, but others might not be so lucky. I don't think I can help with a patch, but I'd be happy to assist with testing/bugfixing if needed. - Ole-Morten Duesund -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-2-xen-amd64 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages knowledgeroot depends on: ii apache2 2.2.3-3.1 Next generation, scalable, extenda ii apache2-mpm-prefork [httpd] 2.2.3-3.1 Traditional model for Apache HTTPD ii php5 5.2.0-3 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php5-pgsql 5.2.0-3 PostgreSQL module for php5 ii postgresql-8.1 8.1.5-1 object-relational SQL database, ve knowledgeroot recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
